  • Doom 2 for the GameBoy Advance has been released in North America. "The game was developed by Torus Games and executive produced by id. Gamers can do battle with evil alone, link with another player for co-operative action, or connect with up to three other players for classic deathmatch via the Game Boy Advance Game Link cable."   • Gamespy reports that the very popular FPS, Half Life, is 4 years old as of today. After many delays and push backs, it was finally declared finished on November 9th, 1998. Running on a modified Quake 2 engine, no one would ever have predicted it would still be used to run some of the most popular online games of today. Just as amazing is that Valve themselves haven't released a new game since. ;) ** I've been corrected.. Quake 1 engine!

  • Gamespot has a preview of Blue Tongue's dino park-building strategy game, Jurassic Park : Operation Genesis. They give a run through of what to expect in terms of gameplay, and there are plenty of new screenshots too. Jurassic Park : Operation Genesis is expected to be released at first quarter of 2003.
