There's a two minute trailer of The Sydney Mystery, an adventure game by originally Sydney-based, Twilight Software.
"The Sydney Mystery, offering a bit more than two minutes of footage from this recently unveiled (story) adventure game from Brendan Reville. The game will "immerse the player in a mystery in which a kidnapped uncle has disappeared in a grim underworld of treacherous characters and plot twists". A demo will also be available soon."

Gamespy reports that Blue Tongue's Jurassic Park : Project Genesis has been released to retail outlets across North America.

There's a great article over at Gamespy that lists their top ten dying game genres. It's sad to see the demise of some of the genres listed there, such as Graphic Adventures. Puzzlers are still fun to play, and Shoot em ups / Beat em ups will make a come back any day now ;). Thankfully, Full Motion Video games are dead and buried. I never enjoyed those at all.
