A major part of the role is being responsible for all updates and content on Xbox.com for both Australia and New Zealand.



Reporting is also a key area of the role, meaning you work closely with a variety of content providers and internal departments within Microsoft - at times creating content ? copy, graphics and rich media.

Attention to detail, excellent written communication and design skills are essential to this position (as are Visio skills) ? Your knowledge of the console gaming industry, and a passion for playing is definitely a plus, as it will help you to maintain a strategic plan for the site as well as keeping the visuals consistent with what is expected of a top gaming site today.



Additional experience that will help in the role is having worked within a CMS environment previously, as well as having dabbled in Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Flash to create designs.

The Assistant Producer [AP] works with the Executive Producer and Producer in all aspects of the current Fury project. The AP is responsible for making sure all detailed aspects of the project are managed and handled on time, while maintaining a commitment to Auran's industry leading standards. Physics Programmers - Virtual Mechanix

Virtual Mechanix is currently looking for applications and expressions of interest from experienced physics programmers from within the games or simulation industries. We will also consider applications from University graduates without prior industry experience.



If you possess the following attributes, we?d love to hear from you?



1. Excellent C/C++ programming skills.



2. Strong maths skills.



3. Some knowledge of automotive or mechanical engineering (Preferable but not essential).



4. The ability to translate real-world technical data into code for interactive simulation use.

Animator Position - Deferred Fee

Position(s): 3D Artist (Animator)



Location: Brisbane (Newmarket ) - Open to Inter-state Collaboration

Duration: March 19 ? May 24

Remuneration: Deferred Fee Contract



You will be working on a fully animated music clip, for a notable Brisbane
based band.



Requirements:

- Good understanding of motion, weight, and timing

- Strong 3D Studio Max skills



Main Duties:

- Producing a ?second level? animatic

- Developing and fine-tuning character movement and interaction in a blocking pass ? essentially preparing the scene for a senior animator. Depending on skill level you maybe assigned some less difficult shots.
