ASSISTANT PRODUCER - Job Code F19



The Assistant Producer [AP] works with the Executive Producer and Producer in all aspects of the current Fury project. The AP is responsible for making sure all detailed aspects of the project are managed and handled on time, while maintaining a commitment to Auran's industry leading standards. The AP's functions usually encompass scheduling, budgeting, organizing, coordinating & managing issues and personnel.



Responsibilities

? Help create and maintain schedules.

? Complete knowledge of each team's responsibilities and schedules.

? Main liaison with QA providing QA with build and bug support.

? Maintaining project's production documentation for internal use and external/public viewing.

? Taking and distributing meeting notes.

? Maintain and administering bug lists for team using bug tracking software.

? Assist with external communications.

? Assist the Producer in all of his/her responsibilities.



Additional Responsibilities

? Authoring and maintaining all documents that pertain to the Production process (eg integration procedures, release notes).

? Managing outsourcing schedules, deliveries and integrations.

? Good communications with all team members to check on task progress and general morale.

? Compiling detailed release notes/regression lists for milestone builds.

? Help support the customer service team. This may include participation in e-mail correspondence, message boards and IRC chat rooms.

? Help in the creation of any post ship tools, support and content [IC]

? Perform any other duties as assigned by the Producer, COO, CFO or CEO.



Qualifications/Education

? University education with a degree in business, arts, commerce or a related discipline highly desirable.

? Strong desire to work in the games industry.

? Passion for online games



Language Skills

Excellent written and oral English communication skills required.



Location

The position will be at Auran's head office in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Auran will consider applications from anywhere in the world and successful international applicants will be provided with funds to cover eligible relocation expenses. Auran will organize work permits as required and international applicants may be eligible to apply for Australian residency.



Period of Tenure

The position is for a minimum of two years.
