As part of work on the new, proprietary project 'Vitriol', created in cooperation with 11bit studios (www.foolstheory.com/project-vitriol), Fool's Theory is looking for experienced candidates to work remotely or on-site for the position of:
QUEST DESIGNER (regular / senior)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
If you join us you will:
- constructing the game plot from the theoretical level through implementation in Unreal Engine 4,
- iteration of the implemented quests in terms of functionality and consistency,
- supervision over the logic and course of the narrative,
- independent reporting of asset needs for quests,
- constructing debug content of dialogues in English and implementing their logic.
REQUIREMENTS:
- the ability to create cause and effect maps of the fruits of your imagination,
- the ability to describe events as clear, interesting and simple logical diagrams,
- knowledge of the Blueprint system in Unreal Engine 4 (for senior candidate),
- ability to maintain order in files,
- knowledge of English that allows reading technical documentation with understanding (min. B2),
- independence in performing tasks,
- the ability to analyze implementation problems and solve them,
- experience in working in the video game industry,
- at least one published title,
- ability to work in a team,
- communicativeness.
NICE TO HAVE:
- experience in running RPG sessions,
- analytical approach to games.
