As part of work on the new, proprietary project 'Vitriol', created in cooperation with 11bit studios (www.foolstheory.com/project-vitriol), Fool's Theory is looking for experienced candidates to work remotely or on-site for the position of:
GAMEPLAY DESIGNER (regular / senior)
If you join us you will:
- prototype systems creating gameplay loops,
- create combat systems, trade, equipment, AI trees,
- design and implement the skills of NPC characters in the game, based on the ability system,
- work on maintaining the balance,
- cooperate with the Quest Design department in supporting the game's narrative by mechanics,
- cooperate with the departments of Art.
REQUIREMENTS:
- very good knowledge of Blueprints system in Unreal Engine 4,
- familiarity with AI construction trees,
- familiarity with Gameplay Ability System in UE4,
- ability to maintain order in files,
- knowledge of English that allows reading technical documentation with understanding (min. B2),
- independence in performing tasks,
- good communication skills and willingness to work in a group,
- ability to solve problems.
NICE TO HAVE:
- experience in running RPG sessions,
- participation in game jams.
