PAX Aus Indie Showcase, 2013 Game Submission

PAX Australia have opened submissions for the PAX Aus Indie Showcase! Australian and New Zealand independent games developers are encouraged to submit their games for a special showing at this year's massive PAX Australia event which kicks off in Melbourne on the 19th of July. Indie devs who have their games chosen for the PAX Aus Indie Showcase will receive an extra helping of exposure at PAX Aus through:

IGDA Melbourne: Playtesting in Public Places

IGDA Melbourne are organising an event purely for playesting which will hopefully free up the regular IGDA Melbourne meetups at the Thousand Pound Bend for networking and discussions. This is the first of what may be a regular event depending on the response it gets, and it starts this Friday at Beer De Luxe in Federation Square from 5pm till 8pm.

IGDA Sydney have the next monthly Sydney games developer meetup set for Tuesday, next week. Bring your games, laptops, handheld devices, and extra power cords and boards along because a whole bunch of helpful like-minded games developers will be there for testing, feedback, and critique! All are welcomed to come and make sure to enter Club 77 via the rear entrance in the alleyway.

Game Jam Sydney showcase and presentation ceremony

A showcase and presentation ceremony has been organised for the Sydney portion of the 2013 Global Game Jam. It's happening this Saturday at the Powerhouse Museum in Ultimo, so come along and check out all the games during the 48hour game jam marathon by Sydney's finest developers who'll also be there to demo and chat to the public about their game.

Come and play the games made at Melbourne's Global Game Jam! The 2013 Global Game Jam event wrapped up last weekend and in Melbourne, a massive number (130) of games developers took part to produce a whopping 37 games within the 48 hour deadline. In a few weeks, you'll get a chance to play some of those games and attend the awards and celebrations being organised for the next IGDA Melbourne meetup!
