Grease Monkey Games are continuing to scale and we're seeking a talented Executive Assistant, ideally from a startup or growing video game business to join our team! 

Reporting into our Founder, you can look forward to working with an amazing team of talented and creative professionals.

This is an exciting time for the studio as we continue to build & grow critical supporting functions to build a sustainable business. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the sourcing of IT assets and client management to our third party vendors 
  • Provide end-to-end administrative support to our Founder, COO and people managers
  • Source office supplies and liaise with third party property management vendors to agree 
  • Book travel for our employees and assist with completing itineraries, expense claims and diary management
  • Support our Founder and Head of Marketing team with events management
  • Assist our Founder & senior leaders on arranging events and booking venues for monthly vibe initiatives in pursuit of embedding a fun, relaxed and creative team culture 

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role 
  • Strong collaborative skills with experience of working in a startup environment with multiple departments, ideally from a studio or Product development and cross-functional team environments (Design, Engineering, Production, QA, Publishing)
  • Practical, creative, self-motivated, proactive, great communicator, an open mind-set when receiving feedback and able to pivot based on project priorities
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills 
  • Competency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or Google Suite
  • Experience in dealing with confidential information, and demonstrated capacity to maintain confidentiality

Grease Monkey Games (Formerly League Of Monkeys) was established in 2013 and consists of over 20 talented artists, developers, designers, UI /  UX and producers based in our Brunswick studio in Melbourne. 

Founder and CEO Arran Potter has a rich heritage of experience in creating visual effects and video games, working on high profile commercials and films dating back to the early 2000s. After moving from a contract based company to solely developing original IP games in 2014, our games have been downloaded more than 45 Million times from people all over the world.
