We are looking for Industry Game Designers / Programmers who are keen to mentor the next gen!

The person we seek will ideally have the following:

  • Work or education history that fulfils at least one of the following:
    • At least 2 years professional industry practice in games or creative media with a portfolio of work
    • Teaching or training experience either in higher education or a professional environment
    • A related postgraduate qualification, preferably at a Masters level
  • Experience in Games Development software such as Unity and Unreal
  • Passion to assist students reach their full academic potential
  • Outstanding organisational and communication skills
  • High level of agile critical thinking and problem-solving ability

About the role

The position involves planning, developing, and delivering individual modules of accredited courses at HE degree level to both local and international students. You will be part of a dynamic and creative team that supports students to reach their full academic potential and develops their experience in preparation for entering the games industry.

This role places high importance on shaping and developing the curriculum and academic development of SAE Games at a local and national level, with the aim of improving our content to match industry expectations and needs.

SAE's collaborative, project-based approach to creative media education provides students with a hands-on, collaborative and industry-aligned way to achieve formal qualifications. SAE students are supported in developing collaborative, industry-relevant projects throughout their studies.
