Looking for an experienced Gameplay Programmer / Designer who has shipped at least one game to design and implement top down enemies in a room based dungeon crawler game. Will be working in a small team on a game with an established direction to work from. While this is initially a short term contract we are looking for someone with the potential to establish a much longer term relationship if things go well. 

Responsibilities

  • Creating & designing enemies + bosses

  • Designing enemy encounters within a room

  • Balancing game difficulty within combat & beyond

  • Polishing to a high degree

Requirements

  • Shipped at least one game for console & desktop.

  • Worked on combat systems (Bonus points for top down)

  • Great knowledge of Unity

  • An eye for juicy polish

  • The ability to work remotely and self manage priorities and workload

  • Communicate effectively with an international team working remotely through slack

  • Experience using Jira (preferable)
