There's a great hands-on article over at IGN on Heroes of the Pacific, the WW2 flight combat game in development at IR Gurus. The article looks into how the controls are tackled for the planes, and the variety of missions on offer to the player...
"With all of these different types of missions and gameplay to take care of, Heroes of the Pacific is set up to be much more than just a dogfighting game. The aerial combat that we've seen is fun, but even that would wear incredibly thin after 26 missions of shooting down Japanese over the Pacific. After playing for a couple hours we still felt like we had barely scratched the surface of what this game has to offer."
great work guys, great game, losta fun! thanks for the behind the scenes talk at AIE too :)
