Ok, I'll admit it, I love Google Video. There's a whole lot of interesting videos on there that you can really kill some hours if you're bored.
So anyway, post your interesting Google video links here. [;)]
We've only been receiving Top Gear on SBS recently, and what a awesome show. I'm not a huge car buff, but it's still interesting for me. The presenter seems to push himself around tracks a lot and it's pretty exciting stuff even if you're not into cars that much. I found this segment on google video where he compares driving an NSX on a track in Gran Turismo on the PS2 with doing it on the real track with the actual car. Yes, more google video stuffs [:)]
I was feeling a bit nostalgic so I did a search in google video on anything related to the C64, and I stumbled onto this great video. This video is of a lecture by Jeri Ellsworth on her extraordinary life, from being a very inquisitive child, building racing car chassis as a teenager, owning a chain of computer stores, going broke, right to being the chip designer of the C64 joystick which sold a bajillion units. Not bad for a school drop out!
She's got many, many tales to tell, and if you've got an hour or so to burn, this is a decent way to waste it [:)]
Some of her stories include her never-say-die entrepreneur skills as a kid, the rift with her computer store business partner, and losing nearly all her money in ensuing legal battles. With the tiny amount money she had left, she moved out of her apartment, rented and lived in an empty store, and used empty hardware boxes as display which she took from the dumpsters of her old store. She managed to climb back, open 5 more stores, and put her old business partner out of business. [;)]
When she designed that C64 joystick, which was a joystick which you could plug into your TV and played 30 C64 games, she made a mistake on the chip design. Around 250,000 of them were already made, and *none worked*!! [:D]
*Luckily* she found a solution. [:D]

Also, here's a long E3 presentation of Crysis, with I'm gussing is the art director explaining all the features and effects of the game. It's pretty damn cool, although a much higher-res version of this is needed, I think [;)].

BumpTop 3D Desktop Prototype
http://honeybrown.ca/Pubs/BumpTop.html
Really interesting demonstration of a 3D Desktop Prototype, which is controlled via pen and touchscreen. They're sorta mimicking a real work desktop, where you'd have piles of documents that can be accessed and stacked in piles. All the documents and objects have physics and collision, and there are some interesting ways to achieve things via gestures / drawing certain shapes.
A high school play directed by an enthusiastic Monkey Island fanatic. Full of Monkey Island and Indiana Jones references. There are nine parts in all.

Russian climbing has to be my all time favourite though... that guy is a tank!
This video is of an autistic guy, known as the "living camera", who draws an aerial view of Rome after having flew over it for 45 minutes in a chopper. He gets 3 days to draw out on 5 yards of paper of what he saw. All the buildings with varying architecures / windows / arches sizes and shapes etc, streets, roads, everything.. Incredible.

BBC documentary on Tetris. I jumped in to this expecting just a fun history, but I'm truly amazed at it's life cycle. Really worth watching.

I found this pretty amusing. Some internet company called Verizon can't seem to differentiate the difference between dollars and cents. Their promotion says .002 cents per kilobyte, but they charge .002 dollars. So this guy calls up support and tries to fix his bill and explain some basic maths to them in the process, and well.. doesn't get really far
It's quite painful to listen to, but amusing nonetheless. Souri2006-12-09 03:30:56
Hopefully this hasn't been posted yet (no time to check :( ) but this was a great section on CNNN awhile back now
