Kukan Studio (www.kukanstudio.com) develops and ports mobile games and applications.

We are interested in receiving expressions of interest from porting programmers for our rapidly growing team. Successful applicants will be trained in porting programming for the European, North American and Asian markets.



Role

-Modifying code and game assets to fit specifications of different handsets

-Deciding per handset specifications what assets to include to achieve the best gaming outcome

-Reading and interpreting pre-existing code

-Reporting and documenting the work and code developed

-Testing and ensuring the quality of software developed



Desired Skills

-A degree in Computer Science or equivalent

-Experience in software development industry

-Excellent Java and/or C++ skills

-Basic understanding of computer games

-Ability to work in small teams and unsupervised

-Experience in game development is considered as an advantage

-Familiarity with mobile phone technology

-Quick learner with strong problem solving skills
