We are Grinding Gear Games, creators of the award-winning dark fantasy Action RPG Path of Exile. We're a world-class studio of more than 180 developers based in Auckland, New Zealand and we're currently expanding the Path of Exile development team.

Grinding Gear Games is looking for a full stack Web Developer to join the Path of Exile development team.

Location: On-site in Henderson, Auckland, New Zealand
Relocation assistance (for the right candidate, if needed)
Full time position - 40 hours a week
Wages: $45.67NZD - $62.50NZD gross per hour depending on experience.

The position includes the following duties: 

  • Ongoing additions to and modernisation of the pathofexile.com website.
  • Feature and tool development to support internal teams.
  • Integration of the Path of Exile game and website.

We are seeking someone with:

  • Experience with PHP MVC / ORM frameworks (preferably Zend Framework / Laminas / Doctrine).
  • Front-end JavaScript and CSS / SASS experience.
  • One year of commercial Web Developer experience.

What We Offer:

Our work hours are flexible, with core hours from 11.00am to 3.30pm. We also offer pre-approved overtime pay!
