We’re Qloud Games, an Australian-based indie game studio with team members hailing from around the world, and we’re developing Loftia.

Loftia blends the creative and cozy elements of beloved titles like Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley, embedding them within an online, persistent world. It’s our vision to provide a space for players to find their sense of belonging, and work together with the community to work toward a brighter and more hopeful future.

About The Role

As our Lead Producer, you’ll work closely with the rest of our leads as well as individual team members, to ensure that all of Loftia’s milestones are met on time. You’ll be overseeing development progress, solving production challenges, and working with the whole team to maintain high standards of quality and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Create and oversee project plans, timelines, and schedules
  • Manage project production, collaborating with the leads and each dev team to maintain a shared understanding of designs, goals, and limitations
  • Maintain issues and documentation in project management software
  • Identify and problem solve when targets are at risk of being missed, and helping the team course-correct
  • Help set, improve and iterate on team processes for increased clarity of communication and development efficiency

We’re looking for a candidate with:

  • Significant industry experience in a production role and having shipped multiple game titles
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with team members at all levels
  • Experience working with spreadsheets and project management software
  • A desire to work in a high-trust and lean environment, with a focus on moving and iterating with speed
  • An attitude of open-mindedness, flexibility and someone who’s a lifelong learner!

Employment details

  • Form of employment: Full-time permanent
  • Employment location: Fully remote – preference for within Australia, but all candidates will be considered
  • Start date: As soon as possible
  • Salary: Competitive market rates – based on experience and location
