QA Tester

About the role
True Axis is looking for a QA Tester to work across its suite of mobile first games.
The QA Tester at True Axis is responsible for ensuring that the games are functioning properly and that there are no glitches or errors. Your focus will be to play games from start to finish, looking for any problems.
You are responsible for getting to know the requirements of the games you are testing, meaning learning how it’s supposed to work by the design. Then replay the same parts of the game over and over again to find bugs. 
You are responsible for generating the bug list and the communication to developers via internal software and to the players via Zendesk.

What you’ll be responsible for

Identifying and Managing bug list

• Manual testing of True Axis Games across iOS and Android mobile devices for quality assurance. Bugs will also be raised by the social teams and the players. You will represent the voice of the players.

Customer Service

• Updating and management of Zendesk to drive customer service communication.

Skills you’ll need

Collaboration

• Work with others by being open, clear in communication and listening to achieve goals.

Communication

• Write clear and structured bug descriptions to convey information and ideas to developers. Manage bug lists dynamically.

Attention to detail

• Accurately identify bugs or errors that exists in the True Axis suite of games.

Desired Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
• Extensive knowledge of Manual Testing.
• Excellent written, verbal and organisational skills.
• Ability to learn on the job and ask questions.
• Software Development knowledge.
• Zendesk experience.
