Senior Game Designers

We are looking for an experienced and talented Senior Game Designer to implement and manage design content for an upcoming next generation PlayStation title.

Responsibilities:

Recruiting and leading a team of other designers
Responsibility for the Gameplay elements of the game
Player Control quality and response
Ease of use of the Game Controls to make the game highly accessible
Preparing a Controller Map for each animation
Feedback and Testing for animations and camera systems
Preparing an Animation Map for the Animation team
Preparing documentation and specifications of features for programmers
Managing and recruiting the internal test team
Collating an preparing game Event Data from research
Scripting Event Data
Feedback and testing of behaviour for the AI Team
Recruitment and Management of Designers and Junior Designers

Skills & Experience:

Applicants must have completed at least 2 AAA titles on PS2, Xbox or Game Cube and relevant experience in testing games
Experience with 3D software preferably with Maya
Have a sound knowledge of AI constraints and design fundamentals
Ability to implement Design Tools and liaise with programmers
Good communication skills both written, drawing and presenting ideas
Good understanding of logic and basic understanding of programming
Experience using a scripting language
Documentation and scheduling of tasks
Broad range of understanding of popular culture

Qualifications:

A Bachelor of Arts Degree in Arts or Product Design or have overwhelming Game Design experience
