Melbourne: thatgame requires contract artist

  • In my first and previous post in this game dev log entry, I had written that I wanted to do a game which was a collection of simple retro games. Unity released a new major release (2019.3) while I was putting the initial project together, and I…

  • Well, I'm making a game . I'm spending the next few weeks on making a small game to showcase the gamedev log feature on tsumea where any member can create a game entry and other members can post journal posts with art, music or just development…

We require a talented, motivated 2D/3D digital artist to work in the video games industry on titles for PS2, XBox and PC. This is a short term contract posiotion of 3 - 6 months. There are 2 main disciplines the applicant must have experience in - lo-poly games modeling with Maya and 2D Flash animation.

The position will involve the creation of game res models in Maya 4/5 and level asset creation using our in-house tools. The job will also involve the creation of animation assets - namely in-game 2D cinema that must be created in Flash MX.

We have a tight deadline and the workload reflects this, that's why we only need replies from game artists with the relevant skills and experience.

If you think you fit the bill and are itching to work on a great title with a publisher and release date, then send your details, some examples of your work (no more than 8 jpgs, 800 x 600) or web address to:
