Senior Games Programmer

Krome Studios is Australia?s largest game development company and the premier independently owned game development studio with a game development history reaching back to 1984. Krome develops titles for PS2, X-Box and Gamecube.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled C and C++ programmer with extensive AAA console games experience and excellent documentation and communication skills.

Your qualifications will include:

? Degree in Computer Science or related discipline;
? Minimum 3 years games industry experience with at least one AAA game published;
? Strong C and C++ programming skills;
? Strong 3D programming and maths skills;
? Through understanding of game production process;
? Excellent written and oral English communication skills;
? Willing and able to learn by immersion.

The responsibilities of the role will include:

? Develop well designed software within project schedule to team standards;
? Assess future functions and features within the specified game product;
? Ensure the code is of high quality in conjunction with the Quality Assurance staff;
? Ensure the code is delivered within the specified project schedule;
? Review and assess functionality features of the specified game product as it develops;
? Document source code.

You must be willing to work flexible hours to meet deadlines and milestones.

A negotiable remuneration package will reflect the importance of the position and the quality of the successful candidate.

This is a full-time, permanent position in Brisbane, Australia.

Senior Games Artist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Artist/Animator with extensive AAA console games experience and excellent documentation and communication skills.

? Highly level of competence with 3D Studio MAX environment;
? Minimum 3 years games industry experience with at least one AAA game published;
? Excellent general artistic ability including sketching and drawing;
? Thorough understanding of the game production process;
? Strong 3D modelling and animation background;
? Through understanding of game production process;
? Excellent written and oral English communication skills;
? Willing and able to learn by immersion;
? Ability to take direction.

The responsibilities of the role will include:

? Develop high quality art assets within project schedule to team standards;
? Assess future functions and features within the specified game product;
? Ensure the art assets produces are of high quality in conjunction with the Quality Assurance staff;
? Ensure art assets are delivered within the specified project schedule;
