Hey,

I know it's not strictly Australian news given Funcom is a Norwegian studio but there are three Australians here working on Age of Conan, Dan Cormick and Sonia Tyndale as GFX Artists and myself as lead Concept Artist. Anyway, I thought you might be interested in checking out a sample of the environments and combat as screened on US G4TV (they were int he office a fortnight ago.

I'll definately check this out next month (in a few days) when my broadband connection goes back from being capped at 64k. (Shakes fist at stupid 10 gig limit.)

Another link worth checking out is the new Project Offset videos (which I'm sure Rod Green worked on):

Although the gameplay itself looks a little dull (then again it's always hard to tell from a video clip) I hafta say the art direction, especially in regards to the landscape and architecture, is near spot on.

So good work on that front ;)

Thanks guys. The video really only showed a very limited aspect of the gameplay.

I should also say there's a 4th Australian here. Chad Chatterton - a world builder on AOC. Btw, Dan and Sonia also worked on Dreamfall, which is out as we speak.
