Technical Manager

The Technical Manager is responsible for the day to day management of the Programming teams. The successful applicant will work closely with the Technical Director and the Programming Leads in managing staff, providing support and mentorship. This position will report directly to the Technical Director.

Position:

? Support and mentoring of the programming staff.
? Assist in the development of programming schedules.
? Frequent communication with the production team.
? Liaise with project leads and production directors to identify potential production risks and solutions.
? Staff hiring, discipline and development strategies with a view to constantly increasing the skills and quality of the programming team.
? Troubleshooting and influence good practices and research new areas of programming development.

Requirements:

? Significant Game Programming experience on two or more completed titles.
? Significant experience in a Lead Programming role.
? PS2 systems experience.
? Strong 3D math background - must be able to solve 3D math problems unattended.
? Bachelor Degree in computer science or equivalent.
? People management experience.
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with a methodical and patient demeanor.

Lead Programmer

The Lead Programmer is responsible for the management of all complex game systems and tool code according to technical and game design documents. It is also their responsibility to manage all programming resources including people and time.

Position:-

? Support the development of the programming team
? Define, implement and maintain the programming schedule.
? Architect and implement high-risk code development.
? Lead the support of designers, artists and sound developers as clients of the programming team
? Complete programming tasks in accordance with the schedule and ensure high quality code
? Perform functional testing on own code

Requirements:-

? Significant Game Programming experience on two or more completed titles
? PS2 systems level experience
? Strong 3D math background - Must be able to solve 3D math problems unattended.
? Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Senior Game Programmer

The Senior Programmer will be responsible for the implementation of complex game and tool code according to technical and game design documents. This position will report directly to the Lead Programmer.

Position:-

? Develop and code game systems
? Implementation of complex game and tool code according to technical and game design documents.
? Work with the Lead Programmer to design complex components and architecture of the game
? Responsible for the most complex systems in the game development
? Ensure high quality code
? Perform functional testing on their code
? Fix bugs

Requirements:-

? Game Programming experience on one or more completed titles
? PS2 systems level experience
? Strong 3D math background - Must be able to solve 3D math problems unattended.
? Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent
? Proven ability in at least one of the following: AI - Creating life-like behaviour models, Graphics ? Implementing advanced visual effects, Physics ? Enhancing game play with realistic interactions
? Strong C and C++ skills

Lead Artist

The Lead Artist is responsible for managing the art team in production and refinement of assets. It is also their responsibility to allocate resources (both people and time) per project. This position will report directly to the Art Director.

Position:-

? Set and maintain art quality standards
? Develop and maintain style guide and art pipeline documents?
? Determine asset completion assessment
? Input into technology features and game design
? Manage day to day activities of the art team

Requirements:-

? Significant game industry experience with experience in a lead role
? Ability to schedule in MS Project
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with a methodical and patient demeanor
? Proven ability in at least two of the following: 3D environment creation, character and/or prop modeling, user interface design, pre-visualization, graphic design, particle FX, MEL script/
? University degree in Art preferable
? Love of games and multiple genres greatly appreciated.

Senior Artist

The Senior Artist is responsible for designing, illustrating and creating 2D and/or 3D art assets as well as potentially mentoring and monitoring more junior artists. They should be able to effectively control a key art subject and provide solutions. This position will report directly to the Lead Artist.

Position:-

? Producing 2D art assets including concept art, textures and illustrations
? Create efficient and appropriate 3D models and textures for environments, characters and props
? Define and refine lighting set-ups for both pre-baked and real-time light solutions.
? Input into game design and development pipeline issues.
? Utilize Dynamics; particle FX and physics animation solutions.
? Pre-visualization using Flash, After Effects or similar.
? Graphic design and multimedia/visual communication skills

Requirements:-

? Significant game industry experience with experience in a Senior role
? Proven 3D skills for both high-end and low resolution modeling.
? Familiarity with Photoshop and a leading 3D package.
? Proven ability in at least two of the following: 3D environment creation, character and/or prop modeling, user interface design, pre-visualization, graphic design, particle FX, MEL script/
? Love of games and multiple genres greatly appreciated.
? University degree in Art preferable
