Virtual Mechanix currently has a number of positions open for freelance car modellers.

To be considered applicants must be able to produce high detail accurate car models with Softimage XSI (specifically sub-d modelling techniques), able to follow a detailed design document, have an understanding of normal map generation and ability to paint textures.
Previous game industry experience is preferred but not essential for these positions.

This contract work will be full time expected to take approximately 12-15 months to complete.
