The Lead Artist will report to the Project Producer. The game team artists will report to the Lead Artist.

The Lead Artist will coordinate with the company Art Director to assure the continuation of the game vision and production practices, and work directly with the Producer, Lead Engineer, Lead Game Designer, and Quality Assurance Lead to identify art solutions.

The Lead Artist will divide his or her time between producing art work and supervising the work of the art staff working on the game

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Maintain the current vision, and where needed establish areas of the game vision.
* Maintain art team efficiency and communication.
* Set and maintain the art quality and standards for the project.
* Create high quality 3D models and environments according to the project?s style guide and indicated production procedures.

* Knowledge and experience of in-game art asset production.

The Senior Database Engineer will report to the Lead Engineer, and be responsible for designing and implementing a large database system for a massively multiplayer online game. To be considered for this role, you must have a proven track record in implementing large scale database systems, ideally in SQL Server and Oracle.

DUTIES

o Manage a small team of database engineers
o Manage the development process of the database system and ensuring that the process smoothly integrates with the established software development process
o Work closely with all members in a large software development team
o Maintain the internal database servers
o Design and optimise the database schema and stored procedures
o Integrate the database system for the game with a 3rd party billing system
o To analyze and produce a justified written report on a data center architecture for the game, including:
+ Evaluating the suitability of a number of database system options (i.e., MS SQL Server, Oracle, other recommended options).
+ Address the scalability of each option, providing information based on scaling up - both with increasing the hardware of the db system, or adding additional active replicated servers.
+ Address the hardware and software cost of each option, providing information on how the cost would differ based on scaling the system.

+ Document an implementation strategy for the recommended data center architecture, including hardware and software configurations, with emphasis on server replication (if needed), also providing a time-line for the implementation strategy.
