THQ Studio Australia is a wholly owned subsidiary of THQ, Inc. The studio was founded in Jan 2003 and has grown to 60+ people. The Company is looking to expand to over 70 people over the next year. THQ Studio Australia completed its first title, Jimmy Neutron: Attack of the Twonkies, based on the popular Nickelodeon franchise. It is available on Playstation?2 and Nintendo GameCube. Work is well underway on a high profile second project for all three major consoles. Pre-production has also started on a third exciting project, an RPG title.

IT Support

Job Description

Required Skills:
- solid experience with Microsoft workstation operating systems: 2000, XP
- understanding of Microsoft windows domain based networks
- experience with Microsoft office, in particular Outlook
- understanding of core network services: DNS, DHCP, WINS, etc
- understand PC anatomy; ability to assemble, trouble shoot and diagnose Hardware
- experience installing and troubleshooting periperhal devices: printers, scanners, etc
- experience with tape backup devices

* MUST HAVE EXCEPTIONAL PEOPLE SKILLS!!

Desirable Skills:
- experience with Microsoft server operating systems: NT4/2000/2003
- experience with Microsoft exchange mail server: 5.5/2000/2003
- experience with PABX phone systems
- experience with Network devices: switches, routers, firewalls, etc
- interest in web development and databases
- interest in programming (C++, Java, VBScript, etc)
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (Software Engineering / Data Comms & Software Engineering)
