REQUIREMENTS (Highly regarded)
?5+ years of project management experience in the computer games industry highly advantageous.
?A strong track record of success over several projects.
?Experience managing and organising teams of 20+ people.
?Degree with high-distinction (first class) highly regarded. A technical background advantageous.
?Excellent verbal and written communication and organisational skills.
?Excellent interpersonal skills. Highly motivated and energetic. Able to motivate and inspire others. Perceptive to the needs of others.
?Experience with contemporary project management methodologies particularly iterative processes and other progressive refinement ideologies.
?Highly organised and able to work in complex challenging multi-tasking environments.
?Acute attention to detail.
?Able to quickly identify risks and threats to a project.
?Work closely and pro-actively with team members. Not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
?Flexible and able to work across all aspects of a project.
?Fluent in the techniques and technologies of game development.
DUTIES
?Report directly to the CEO
?Manage all stages of game development keeping the project on schedule from design through implementation and final delivery.
?Maintain team morale.
?Provide a central point of contact and reporting.
?Co-ordinate and facilitate all project meetings with staff, suppliers (external teams) and publishers.
?Record and report on all meetings.
?Pro-actively advise the executive on HR requirements and negotiate staffing levels.
?Implement and maintain all project management related documentation.
?Assist with publisher pitches.
?Research new and better methods for project management on an on-going basis and report to the executive.
?Provide feedback on staff for review purposes.
