Producer for Firemint
Firemint designs and develops award-winning, premium video game titles for handheld devices including mobile phones and Nintendo DS. Our clients are some of the world's leading US and UK publishers and include EA Mobile, THQ, I-Play and Disney. We are looking for a Producer to join our suit-free studio in inner-city Melbourne (Richmond).
Responsibilities will include:
- running several game development projects concurrently
- Dealing directly with our clients regarding schedules, answering queries and resolving issues
- Relay information between the client and the developer teams
- Forecast sequence of required tasks to ensure smooth project delivery
- Daily tracking of development team's progress
- Project documentation
Experience required:
- Prior experience in the Games Industry will be highly regarded, but is not essential. If you haven't worked in the industry, you would need at least 2+ years experience running teams in an IT environment.
- Proven track record for completing projects to scope, within budget and on time
- Knowledge of Agile development processes is a plus
Personal attributes:
- Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written)
- Attention to detail
- Very well organized, excellent time management skills and able to multi-task
- Self-motivated
- Able to work under tight deadlines
