Game Systems Designer - Job No F01
The Fury design team is looking for an additional Game Systems Designer who can take ownership of the game?s equipment and economic balance as well as hammer out the serious details of a rock solid crafting system. If you can prove to us that you?re intelligent, dedicated, and an extreme veteran of many MMOs then we want to talk.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
?Developing new game systems as required to support and expand Fury
?Maintaining and improving existing game systems and associated system documentation
?Maintain and extend design content within the MS SQL environment
?Learn and use proprietary techniques to balance existing and new game systems
?Additional responsibilities will also be assigned as warranted

Qualifications

Education and Professional Experience

?A bachelor of science or higher level degree in engineering, economics, or business

Game Experience
?Serious experience as a gamer in many genres, especially MMORPGs
?Strong understanding of MMO* and RPG systems
?Thorough understanding of MMORPG game economies such as Eve Online, Star Wars: Galaxies, and Project Entropia

Qualifications:
?Excellent mathematical and problem solving abilities
?Excellent computer literacy with strong abilities in Excel, Access and Word
?Strong technical writing skills
?A strong love of gaming extending to a substantial knowledge of existing game systems and the ability to draw from design lessons in those game and apply them to Fury
?A passion for creating and playing massively multiplayer games
?A passion for learning
?A strong work ethic

Plusses:
?Experience with Mathcad, MatLab, Mathmatica, or other calculation environments
?Experience with @Risk or other simulation and risk analysis software
?Experience with a programming and/or scripting language
?Strong understanding of relational databases
