My idea is to make an Australian fighter, seeing that this is and Australian / New Zeland site. So my character is a bogan that gets into lots of bar fights. Here is my first concept.

Thanks for your commnets LOOM, XY01 and caseyjones. Loom I think I will try to save some polys for a bottle. Well have have started to work on the mesh I may be rushing it a bit but that's the way I am. I wish I could draw alwell as some of the others in this comp that I have seen. I always seem to start with the head. To me it is the most important part of a model. Picture below

Makk: For this weeks extreme make over...one head enlargement and arm extention. Thanks for the crit. I find it makes me a while to get the proportions right.
Leahy: I was thinking of giving him and an Australian flag and/or kangaroo tats.

It's been a while since my last post, I've been spending most of my time playing Rise of Legends. I have done a bit more work on the head. I am trying to see if I can make it completely in 3DS max, without the aid of Zbrush. Been trying work out the best way of modelling the hair. At the moment it done by adding a noise modifer and adjusting various setting. I got a bit bored with modelling and want to do some test rigging and animations.

Just started a quick guide mesh to see how dense to make the mesh for a 6k model and to check the proportions. It took about a half hour.
