Sumea Challenge #8 - Asmuel - CH#11

Hi Everyone!

I am a late entry into this competition, started at the start of September so I have decided just to dump everything at the end to save time. I will post all my work within the next couple hours, I am from New Zealand so lets hope I calculate the time difference properly and am able to hand it in before Midnight aussie time.

Probably a small technicality, but you need a front, back, side, and 3/4 view for shots 1 and 2.

Just close up shots instead of beauty shots, unforseen circumstances mean no beauty shots (lack of resources). oh well times up anyway

Just do a simple render for the money shot (and include the relevant model info), and include a three quarter view of screen shots 1 and 2, and you're done!

ah sh*t no time left to change orthos, I thought I saw someone else do the same as me but it might have been my imagination. Oh well cant change it now I guess its 3am in New Zealand now Im not really thinking straigh need sleep bad.

Ok, just a simple money shot which has the name of your character, your polycount info, and a list of any special maps you used, and you're in!

The one with the three angles of him doesnt suffice?? Because its only 1024 X 512?? Man you guys are hardcore with the rules, Im used to the sloppy rules @ polycounts challenges, Its a good thing you guys inforce them I guess I just wasnt prepared for it.

Cheers, thanks mate. Now that I look at it that render is pretty bad. I had to use modo's viewport shots which means no shadows, which is a shame with all the overhanging geometry, It also f**ks up transparency too. Oh well thats what I get for not owning good rendering software, I guess youll have to use your imagination when looking at it ;)

The money shot should be 1024 x 1024 pixels. If you're not too tired, can you change that please?

^ updated version of my first picture, I just noticed the sword was missing in part of it so I thought I would repost it, I will understand If its not accepted because the deadline is over

thanks PeterDavis :) I took a lot of inspiration from human anatomy when designing the armour.
