Lead Programmer

As our business continues to grow and thrive, this newly created role reports directly to the Programming Manager and is responsible for the programming functions within a game project team. As a potential successor to the Programming Manager this role is not only responsible for game programming within the team but also involved in future technical direction across the studio. Key responsibilities of this position include:-

Position:-

- Assist with the recruitment and development of technical talent, ensuring sufficient resource coverage and effective team cohesion.
- Create, implement and maintain a programming schedule including the identification of any potential production risks.
- Architect and implement high-risk code development.
- Lead the support of designers, artists and sound developers as clients of the programming team.

To succeed in this role you will be a strong team player and have a passion for technology. Key position requirements include:-

- Bachelor Degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Demonstrated Game Programming experience on at least one completed title.
- Proven track record in effectively managing employees and building successful teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with a methodical and patient demeanor.
- Strong 3D math background - must be able to solve 3D math problems

Programming Manager

- Excellent international career opportunity with global visibility
- Drive and implement new technology strategies and initiatives
- Salary up to 100k, plus additional benefits and relocation support

This newly created role due to business growth, reports directly to the General Manager is responsible for the programming function across the project teams. As a potential successor to the Regional Technical Director this role is not only responsible for game programming but also involved in future technical direction in the region. Key responsibilities of this position include:-

- Recruiting and developing technical talent, ensuring sufficient resource coverage and effective talent management.
- Mentoring and training programming team.
- Driving programming schedules, including process improvements, and identifying any potential production risks.
- Troubleshooting and driving efficient programming practices and new areas of programming development.

To succeed in this role you will be a strong team player, effective communicator and have a passion for technology. Key position requirements include:-

- Bachelor Degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Demonstrated Game Programming experience on two or more completed titles.
- Proven track record in effectively managing employees and building successful teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with a methodical and patient demeanor.
- Strong 3D math background - must be able to solve 3D math problems unattended.
