White Noise Games are looking for a Texture Artist to fill a 3 month contract.

This is currently a contract position that could lead to ongoing employment for the right candidate. It is a creative position that will require strong traditional art skills and a working knowledge of 3D applications and procedures. Please send examples of your best work, preferably texture pages and pictures of the finished models with maps applied.

Requirements:

- Proven traditional artistic skills, (Formal training desired but not required).
- Be able to generate art under pressure and within a time frame.
- Ability to generate art based on verbal or written descriptions.
- Ability to produce art in varying styles and levels of realism.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a team environment.

Additional Criteria:

- Understanding of real-time 3D graphics and art creation processes.
- An interest in games and game creation.
- Experience with digital painting tools such as Photoshop.

Submission Guidelines:
Please send samples of -

- Examples of your strongest skills in any medium; painting, drawing, digital painting.
- Particular emphasis should be made to the use of colour.
- A CD/DVD is preferred. We do accept hard-copy, however please try and make A4 the largest size.
