I'm looking forward to buying:

Xbox
- Knights of the Old Republic
- Shenmue 2
- Buffy/Dead to Rights (very cheap at the mo)
- Soul Calibur 2

Gamecube
- Viewtiful Joe (must have this game)
- Zelda: Wind Waker
- Ikaruga (missed the DC version)
- Metroid Prime

PS2
- Contra: Shattered Soldier
- Virtua Fighter 4 Evo
- EA Sports Rugby
- Rugby League 2004 (league is better suited to gaming due to stop start nature).

PC
- HL2
- Doom III

Also if anyone has a Sega Saturn with Guardian Heroes for sale, I'll offer a hefty sum. Either that or a Dreamcast with Streetfighter III - third Strike.

i wouldnt mind hl2 and doom3, but thats a little time away...
id also like knights of the old republic, but only when they release the pc version...

what im truly hanging out for is the frozen throne exp pack to warcraft 3
been a good boy and resisted the urge to grab it while i have work to do
but ill finished soon, so ill finally have a chance to give it a go :)

I would just like to be able to buy at least one console with one or two games :)
I guess when i get the money i'll be going for ps2 with FFX and silent hill 3 straight away

FFX is pretty good - great combat system, despite the random battles. Voice acting ranges between fantastic and dodgy.

Silent Hill 3 is pretty rad too. More of the same, but very well done.

Waiting for FFX-2 to hit Aussie shores... then i go halves on it with my friend - he completes the game, then i get to borrow his PS2 and the game so i can finish it :D its a good arrangement.

Half Life 2, Doom 3, S.T.A.L.K.E.R, Lineage 2 (I'm not a MMORPG player, but I would like to at least have an hour's play at this game.. it looks awesome so far), and Gran Turismo 4..
