Summary:
GamePlayer.com.au is creating a gaming news/reviews/segments pilot that needs a female co-host
Details:
Australian gaming website GamePlayer.com.au is creating a television pilot to shoot in Q1 (Jan/Feb) of next year (2012). The idea is similar to Good Game with a few variations (more details are available on request).
The show is humorous and segment based, with a male and female co-host.
The male co-host is ALREADY CAST, and is the current editor of GamePlayer.com.au.
The female co-host we are looking for should meet the following criteria:
- Presentable
- Charismatic
- Knowledgeable about the games industry
- Active gamer (console/PC)
- Passionate about games
- Well spoken
- Between the ages of 18-25
No previous acting experience is required, although it is highly appreciated.
The successful applicant MUST be free within the early months of next year and potentially free to shoot continuously over a 12 month period from mid-2012 til mid-2013 in the event that the pilot is picked up.
The shooting for the pilot will be across 3 days in January/February and the pay is on a day-by-day basis.
Let me stress again that we are looking for a GAMER.
In addition to your résumé please submit a short video explaining something game related, whether it's a game you are excited about or your favourite game or even a review or opinion - just as a test to see how you look and sound on camera as well as general gaming knowledge. This can be as short as 30 seconds and can be filmed on a webcam/Iphone if necessary.
