Destructoid have a "First Jimpressions" of Edge of Twilight taken from a hands-on experience shown at the Tokyo Game Show 2008. It's a nice brief run through of the Steam-punk themed action game from Bisbane developers, Fuzzyeyes Studios, and describes some of the environment and gameplay experience from the demo they received...
The game is shaping up to be pretty darn good, even if the gameplay fundamentals are not screaming originality. From what I've seen, the combat looks very solid, and the aesthetics are definitely memorable. I think the concept is what will push Edge of Twilight from good to great, and that's something we'll just have to wait for, sadly.
There are some *very nice* screenshots of Edge of Twilight available at Destructoid that's highly worth checking out!
This type of game could take
This type of game could take fuzzyeye from just doing odd-games to being seen in a much better light by publishers. Could be a real starter for the studio if they get it right. Get them out of a niche market.
Looks great
The game looks great, they've got some talented people working there.
Some of art looks good,
Some of art looks good, enough of it looks close to being a little too dated for next-gen. The screenshots don't show much in the way of gameplay, and what they do show, doesn't paint a very 'entertaining' picture.
Though, I am rather cynical by nature. Hope they have a hit.
Hard to say if its
Hard to say if its entertaining or not. As you said the screenshots are pretty low resolution, next press release they need to release some high-res screenies.
I will be buying a copy to support the guys anyway and I'll leave assessment on the game until I actually play it.

Would love to see more in-game screenshots based on Alti's concepts! He showed off some really nice concept art imagery on here a long while ago!

Two scenes
Ok, there were two scenes in there which I thought were absolutely outstanding.
At 2:31 where you have a rolling camera view of some urban street with smoke/smog and other debris flying past (some great lighting effects in there also).
And at 3:10 with the above view of that cityscape. That looks incredible.
Fuzzyeyes needs to show more of that awesome stuff. :D
Congratulations Fuzzyeyes
Mind blowing, well done guys. Beutiful art direction (characters, environments), user friendly 3rd person camera, interesting level design, responsive controls and combat, full exploitation of the Unreal Engine 3.
Can't wait to see how things evolve over the coming months.

Screenshots can be misleading...
Actually, based on the vid, it is looking pretty good so far. So, I take back what I said about the art and gameplay. That's the trouble with screenshots, they can say a lot at times, but often they can just as often say a hell of a lot less.
The art / anim looks very polished, and the gameplay looks to be shaping up to be quite solid. Won't proclaim it the greatest game I've seen yet, as vids can often be quite misleading as well ;).
Can't wait to start reading some in-depth previews and reviews of the game :).
Most of the time most game
Most of the time most game engines will supersize the screen, then sample down into a high res image, so the screenshots tend to look much better than the in game appearance.
I heard from a friend that
I heard from a friend that Fuzzyeyes has *extreme* internal management problems. To the point of crippling (or even destroying) the game.
I hope they iron out the issues in time to get the game made properly but from what I've heard it doesn't look good. It's such a shame.
HA! - Tell your friend that
HA! - Tell your friend that Fuzzyeyes have always had internal problems, but that hasn't stopped 'em yet!

sounds like someone who
sounds like someone who works there
They all do
It seems to me that "ALL" Australian game company's suck at the art of "management"....
Any way I hope this game is going to be good I'm getting a copy when it come's out:)
All, huh
Maybe you just haven't worked in the right companies!
maybe not?
Dont think a company full of problem can create any game like this one
