Upcoming Events at Game On

Free public program - All welcome!!

Truna has sent the word that the Game On schedule for the next few months is up at the IGDA Greater Brisbane Chapter page. The upcoming events include:

August: tuesday 7th @ 5.00pm - a game writer's life ... with leanne taylor: how to develop an interactive narrative in 5 minutes!
September: tuesday 4th @ 5.00pm - theory meets the real world ... with our own matt ford ...
October: tuesday 2nd @ 5.00pm - a game animator's life ... with another one of our own: jake hempson ...
October 26th - 28th: game_on goes to the next level: talks and workshops, fresh games independent works-in-progress and mods, AND the 48 hour game competition...

Game on is also planning a 48 hour game making competition as part of the Next Level festival, and there is a discussion currently under way at the IGDA Brisbane forum. They're requesting suggestions to work out the allowable software list for the competition, so if you have a few seconds to spare, click on here!

    and yes - the game on program is free and open to the public .. all welcome ... any odd looks might be from short sighted folk like me who are thinking "oh bugger - i am sure i know that person, i hope they come and say hi and remind me ..."
