Bioshock has been in the news a lot lately, Ken Levine has sure been popular with game media outlets.
In this podcast Ken discusses the role that the Little Sisters of Rapture play in Bioshock, without giving too much away of course. It becomes a goal in the game to find the Little Sisters, after defeating their protective father figures, the Big Daddies, the player is then faced with a moral decision, of which there is no distinct right answer, to ?Harvest? the Little Sisters for their bio material, or to save them. The consequences of these actions become apparent later in the game, however the moral dilemma the player is faced with, concerning the destruction of a frail-looking childlike character, is something the player will have to deal with immediately.
Ken believes that it is moral issues such as these in games that bring them into the realm of film and literature, where the user can become more emotionally involved with the content.

Who's this "Kevin" fellow you keep referring to?
Whoops! Didn't think it was THAT late when I posted that.

Hehe, I always made that same mistake. I can't remember which Irrational employee it was, but they would always send an email to correct me. :)
It's something about that name, Ken Levine, which your brain tricks you into remembering it as Kevin. Damn shifty name! Do a google search for "Kevin Levine" and Irrational and you'll see how common this mistake is!
