Ink and wash experiments

Submitted by Lechy on

Here are some more pictures dabbling in ink, I made some color adjustments in photoshop. These ones are about a year old, I'll post some newer ones soon.

Looking good as always. Its nice to see some of your newer work (even if the first one is kinda old).

The last one sort of reminds me of Lupin from The Castle of Cagliostro... I think its just the hair.

Cool!

Ever thought of making a complete switch over to digital painting? Or are you a full traditional media type of person? There's some really unbelivable stuff being made in Painter these days.

Funny you should mention that Ironhide, I just switched to painter after using photoshop as it gives me more options for painting. I actually have some digital paintings in my profile if you want to check them out.

cheers.

Really good pieces of work here lechy - the last 2 have an almost ancient disposition due to the freeform brushstrokes and less caution in producing something thaths as sharp as the first piece.

For example I imagine finding the first picture in a recently made book of heroes gone past, and the last 2 in some ancient tome of warriors.

Nice Job [:)]

*Great* designs on the clothing and attire. Looks authentic and interesting as well.
