Wierd Flash error - help!!

Submitted by Malus on

Ok my site has a link to my resume in pdf format that employers can download, the problem is it won't work no matter what I do to fix it.
Its imbedded in a flash file that is linked to my main.html file.

This is the link in the html file:

But for some reason it keeps going to: /downloads/CV - Dean Ferguson.pdf and the lower case 'd' on 'downloads' causes it to display a link error!!
Ive checked the main.html and the link in the flash file and they both have the correct link, why would it change when none of the other links do?

I know this is a boring post but its got me totally spunout, any help would be great.

Cheers guys n gals.

Maybe try linking to the exact location, just to make sure....

Oh, and you shouldn't put spaces in filenames either. [:)]

an absolute link might work, or perhaps a "/" before the path.

the file name is a shocker I know, I had everything in lower case though then when the site was moved to a new server it made half of the links uppercase!! Wierd.
The link was created by Flash too so I do'nt know why its all crapped out, direct linking to the pdf file works, just not when the flash file does it. Argh!! Think I'll just rename the file to something better and move it, that way flash will have to look somewherre new.
