well, tomorrow morning at 6:00 i will be getting onto the tilt train and heading to brisbane. to catch a plane down to sydney for the final step of my visa process.
(anyone who has talked to me knows how long its been going).
11.15 on friday i will go into my interview at the US consulate. if all is good, i will be issued my visa then and there.

well im here. im in at work. its almost 5 in the afternoon. and im going to die soon from jetlag.
here are some things ive learnt in the last 24hours...
1) NY is f**king huge. no matter how many photos you see of it, looking out a plane window and seeing manhattan, it is amazing.
2) dont trust anyone that comes up to in the street and wants to 'help you out' or 'hook you up'.
3) $1100/month US doesnt get you much space in West Village.
4) you cant understand spanish women behind bullet proof glass.
5) americans are SUV crazy. i mean CRAZY....
6) you cant sleep when you are in a plane with 60 US 11-13 year olds returning home around you.
7) they like australians, and so far have only heard 2 croc hunter jokes.
