Outlook express

I use outlook express and i know there are a lot of email virusus out there. I was wondering if it is possible to delete emails without opening or reading them first

Disable the preview pane would do most of it...

then you can click on them and delete easily, although make sure that you have a visus scanner running in the background while you do it.
