With IR Gurus wrapping up their new cricket PSP title - Ricky Ponting 2007 Pressure Play for Codemasters. Screenplay had a chance to get a hands-on with the game, and also had the chance to interview the man himself - Ricky Ponting - at IR Gurus last Friday. It's a hard life.
Ricky Ponting was saying how it was weird to play himself in game, saying it was a "bit freaky", and that he'd rather play as one of the other guys, Gilly or Andrew Symonds, so he'd try to get out quickly when playing as himself.
He also went on to say:
I've had a little bit of input along the way, as have a lot of guys in the side. They generally have a bit of a play with it and tell me what's right and wrong along the way. There were technical things, how the fielders should be able to move around and how the bowlers should be able to swing the ball.
Ricky Ponting 2007 Pressure Play for PSP is set for release this summer.
Gee it was nice of them to not mention Acheron!
That's interesting. How much of this was outsourced to Acheron?
