Phantagram Interactive has announced that it will develope and publish a massively multiplayer online game based on the film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon! They're also beta testing their current MMORPG Shining Lore.
This may be a rant, but isn't the market for MMORPGs saturated enough? Off the top of my head, we have Myst, Star Wars galaxies, The Matrix, Everquest 2, Asheron's Call 2, Citizen Zero, Final Fantasy XI, Neverwinter nights, and Morrowind in production or just released. I'm sure there are much much more too. Who's going to be playing all of them?
This could be great! Im a big fan of asian cinema, especially the early Shaw brothers stuff., (not the biggest fan of CtHd, I like hero and Kung fu huslte better,) Think outside the box on this one guys, and it could be really something!
