Tantalus Media is celebrating its biggest year to date with the release of the DS and GBA versions of Cars: Mater National, other DS titles released this year include the hugely successful Pony Friends and Top Gear: Downforce. Also slated for release this year is the DS and PSP versions of MX vs. ATV: Untamed.
CEO, Tom Crago, said he was delighted with the way the company was positioning itself in an ever evolving market.
Obviously the GBA has been very good to us, and we were happy to have shipped two further titles on the platform this year. We have been on the DS since the beginning, and with the four titles we’ve released this year I feel we’ve enhanced our reputation as one of the leaders on that platform. MX vs. ATV is our third effort on PSP, and here again I think our technology is right up there. We have high hopes for that title.
Tom also announced that Tantalus was moving into Wii development with an original title on the way.
We’re working on a large, original title for a top tier publisher, for release in 2009. It’s very exciting for us to be on the Wii, and we hope this will be the first of many games we develop for that platform.

Wow 2009 can't wait to see what it is. I don't think Tantalust will be making many games for the Wii though. Especially when a new console will most likely be realest in 2010/2011.
It seems to me Tantalus try's to divers the games they make clever.
Awesome to hear. Get some new IPs going in Australia to decrease reliance on licenses before our dollar means the Americans put their money into Chinese and Indian studios; and also to help boost our export market. Tantalus +1
