Irrational now 2K

Take 2 Interactive announced last Friday that Irrational games US and Australia will be adopting the names 2K Boston and 2K Australia (not 2K Canberra?). In a subsequent announcement, Bioshock is set to be released in the US on the 21st of August, exclusively for the 360, under the new 2K developer name.

Ken Levine, President and Creative Director of 2K Boston, had this to say:

We're proud to be part of the 2K Games family and enjoy the new opportunities and artistic freedoms this strengthened relationship provides. The name change signifies our growing position as a central part of 2K Games, and we plan to ensure our future titles continue to set new standards of quality and innovation for the industry.

Exclusively for the 360? The article says "...for the Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system and Games For Windows", meaning it's 360 and PC.

I would say that was a pretty "irrational" decision!

The graphics for Bioshock look really different these days. They used to look really gritty and unique. Now it just looks like every other game out there. Has anyone else noticed this change ?
