Melbourne, Australia, 9 October 2006 - Dissecta is pleased to present Tokyo is Game! Tuesday 17th October at 6:30pm in Melbourne Australia.
Game guru and journalist Jason Hill of daily newspapers The Age (Melbourne) and Sydney Morning Herald will provide an overview of this year's Tokyo Game Show, held late September. Dissecta will also present a swag of Japanese flavoured video clips in a little festival of high-rez game media that shows Tokyo is Game! And in light of the innovative game development that Japan certainly offers, Bill McIntosh, CEO of Torus Games, will speak on the Challenges of Original Intellectual Property.
The formal presentations will finish at 8 pm and be followed by complimentary drinks, with developers from Torus Games on hand to show off and discuss their latest title, which will be available to play, and on the Dissecta PC will be the demo version of Ubisoft's Dark Messiah Might and Magic.
Giveaways on the night: Dissecta has five Yakuza (Sega) packs to giveaway on the night, consisting of the very engrossing and stylish game Yakuza, and a special Yakuza bottle opener, courtesy Sega and THQ. Plus Dissecta also has several Dark Messiah t-shirts to give away courtesy Ubisoft.
