Qantm College Wins Queensland Small Training Provider of the Year

Submitted by Bryn Giles

At the recent Queensland Training Awards Qantm College took out the Small Training Provider of the Year award. This is the 3rd time Qantm College has won this award in the past 6 years but it is particularly sweet on this occasion as it is the first time we have won since the purchase of the college by SAE in 2004.

The past 2 years has seen a lot of activity in Qantm College with changes to the management structure and a lot of work being done by academic staff on honing our already successful programs into offerings that are now truly the best Australia has to offer in our field of expertise.

The winning of this award also reflects the strong working relationship Qantm College has with its parent company, SAE Institute (www.sae.edu) who have supported the College through this period of change and has enabled us to expand and refine our offerings while continuing to deliver the best education programs we can.

Qantm College will now enter the National Training Awards, in the same category, which will be held in Adelaide later in the year.

?With the opening of campuses in Sydney, Melbourne and Singapore months the national recognition will be fantastic!? said Academic Director, John Moss, who was last seen dancing the night away at the awards.

?We have had a stead flow of congratulatory emails from industry, fellow educators and alumni which confirms in my eyes the good standing we have in the broader creative digital media community.? said Bryn Giles, College General Manager.

Qantm College would like to congratulate all the winners and nominees and wish them a great 2007. The college would also like to thank the sponsors (http://www.qta.qld.gov.au/sponsors/state/index.htm) of the 2006 Queensland Training Awards for providing a showcase for all the exciting and innovative work being done in training and education in Queensland.
