It's been known for quite a while from various news reports that Auran has been working away on an MMORPG. What has been revealed so far is that Auran, in a partnership with Korean company HanbitSoft, have invested $12 million and a team of 40 for over 3 years on a multiplayer online game that is set to compete with World of Warcraft.
Well, from a recent press release containing an Exhibtor list for the upcoming E3 expo, Auran is set on finally revealing a lot more on what exactly they have been working on. The list has been put up on Gamesindustry.biz which mentions...
"Australian Developer Auran will announce Fury at this year's E3Expo, Auran's first competitive online RPG. Fury has stunning graphics, flexible character development and has been designed with an emphasis on tactical combat, with open PvP, group vs. group and focused team tactics."
Yug from AustralianGamer.com has also informed me that the Auran guys will be previewing Fury, along with signing up some testers at the Supanova event this weekend in Brisbane!
It seems Auran will also have some in-game video of Fury at Supanova this week! (thanks Australian Gamer for the info)
I was at supanova and was selected for the beta/alpha testing as of 11 others.
The game rocks.
what is this supanova you guys talking about? i really want to be in alpha/beta testing for fury, how do you apply?
let me know for alpha/beta testing this game: lvcifer (at) gmail (dot) com
They had a great response at E3 - lots of players and happy faces. Wish them the best - hope the subs role in when it is live!
