Army Recruitment Game from Australia

America's Army has been an incredibly successful recruitment tool for the armed forces in the U.S. The FPS video game proven to be a low cost alternative to TV and other media to promote the military. Australia has jumped on the idea and brought out a game of their own to get people interested in a career in the Australian Defence Force...

"Piloting the F/A-18 Hornet, you will take part in a strike mission on an enemy airfield to render it inoperative. The enemy quickly responds by launching fighters, to achieve victory you must chase them down while avoiding missiles from the SAM sites below.

Flying is only part of your role as a pilot in the Australian Defence Force. Before each mission you will experience mission briefings and perform a pre-flight check of your aircraft. After the sortie you will be debriefed on your performance. Using the hardware encyclopaedia you will have access to extensive specifications for each of the featured aircraft.

Created in collaboration with active and veteran aviators from the Australian Navy, Army and Air Force, ADF: Aviator provides an informative and exciting overview of life as an aviator in the ADF."

The game is a bit poo, 3 levels of dubiouse quality and no draw distance.

If this is a representation of Australia's defence expertise, then God do we need America.
