Krome Studios, Australia's largest game development company, announces the development of the third installment in the company's best-selling TY the Tasmanian Tiger(TM) series. TY the Tasmanian Tiger 3(a) follows the heels of its award-winning predecessors which have sold close to two million units to date. The game will be available for multiple current next generation systems in late 2005.
"The games have captured the heart of millions worldwide which we're very proud of," says CEO and Co-founder Robert Walsh. "Because of that reason, we've set the bar high for ourselves to deliver fans another quality experience in the next installment and we believe we're well underway to achieve our goals."
Players will enjoy an exciting storyline that features the main characters from the previous games while introducing a bevy of new characters including a new main enemy now that Boss Cass is defeated and behind bars for good. In this next chapter, players will embark on a series of new missions and challenges filled with new and upgraded weapons and vehicles. Like its predecessors, TY the Tasmanian Tiger 3 will feature a unique array of interesting native animals inspired by the Australian Outback including the loveable TY, who is based on the thought-to-be-extinct Tasmanian tiger.
Currently in development, TY the Tasmanian Tiger 3 will offer increased multi-player support and will feature several technological upgrades to further enhance the overall gameplay experience. More information on the TY the Tasmanian Tiger property -- including publishing/distribution plans along with the Film Roman animation partnership -- will be shared at a later date. Visit the Krome web site at www.kromestudios.com for information on the company and/or its properties.
I can't wait until I get it this october 2005
Graphics look kinda dated ?
I hope the game looks better than the screen shots.
That's a bit harsh. Pics don't look that bad.
Are you kidding, it looks like a PSone game.
I hope they fixed the performance problems with the earlier titles. The first one ran like a dog.
Very disappointing!
I think it just needs lighting. I'm sure they will add that when the game is released.
Looking at the graphics I would say it would be very hard to fix the lighting at this stage in the development. Ty the Tasmanian Tiger will probably ship as is. Mind you for the PS2 platform they will have to get past Sony first. Xbox and GameCube might be easier.
