The Hollywood star (Tom Hanks) was impressed when shown the latest Australian-made gaming blockbuster, The Polar Express."We got a great response," producer Derek Proud says. "He had a lot of questions and we had a lot of fun."
The Polar Express is being developed by North Melbourne's Blue Tongue Entertainment, whose previous titles include Jurassic Park Operation Genesis and Starship Troopers. The Polar Express is a children's short story being adapted into an animated film by Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump, Castaway). Hanks contributes his voice for many of the film's characters and his acting was motion-captured for the animation."
